Why did I get a lower aqua vitae distilling ratio?

Just distilled aqua vitae for the first time. The in-game entry for aqua vitae says 1l of brandy distills to 0.5l of aqua vitae. After distilling 9.66l of cranberry brandy, I only have 2.34l of aqua vitae which is a 1:0.25 ratio. Is this a bug or is there something else affecting the distilling ratio I'm not aware of?

I'd recommend checking the condenser to make sure it has water in it. If it's run dry, the alcohol will continue to be boiled away, without actually producing anything for the effort.

I definitely did not put water in the condenser...I will try that for the next batch. Thank you for the insight!
