How should I decorate my first floor?

Hey guys, any ideas on how to decorate the first floor of my house? (I included the second floor just for some inspo / to show you the vibe of the house). I don't need a kitchen since I play on a server and we have a diner. Appreciate any help!

Build one anyway.  It's not uncommon for kitchens/dining areas to be social hangout spots for friends and family, perhaps because it's easy to grab snacks and drinks there. A living room or some other social hangout area also works, as it's not unusual to find these spaces near the home's main entrance.

if not a kitchen, then maybe a fireplace and mantle with some chairs for a guestroom?
