I feel like some in-game guides are not as simple and intuitive as they should be. For example: Charcoal pit and Sailboat tutorial guides lack of the exact information needed to make new players understand how these mechanics work. When I first wanted to make a charcoal pit I couldn´t understand exactly how to build it, and that derivated in losing a lot of firewood as I had build the charcoal pit wrong, I had to search a Youtube video to solve my problem.

This is why I propose adding Visual tutorials to help new players understand how certain structures, items or mechanics work, either in images or in short videos both inside the in-game guides. I think these would improve the understanding of these complex mechanics and make the guides more noob-friendly.

Sorry for my bad english it is not my first language so I may have made some errors. Thanks for reading ;)

For inspiration on how these could look, Minecraft's Create mod has fantastic visual aids for demonstrating how it's structures and machines function. Something along those lines could be incorporated into the handbook to show multi-block structures, especially those like charcoal pits and pit kilns that don't show an in-world structure outline like the beehive kiln and cementation furnace do.

Definitely like the idea of visual aids for multi-block structures, one other idea akin to this would be tutorial worlds. I know Minecraft was mentioned previously but one of the features its console editions had that I really liked were pre-generated worlds which had structures already built out. Perhaps something similar could be added to Vintage Story which has all multi-blocks built so that you can get a sense on structure dimensions
