Is there any way I can escape this (without dying)?

So, I slept in this guy's bed and once I woke up I found myself stuck in the ceiling. Jumping doesn't seem to work, neither does sneaking and I am unable break the roof tile that constitutes my prison as the game sees it as a violation of his property rights. (The first image is the view when sneaking)

Since I assume no amount of lying back down and getting up manually changes anything if this got you into this situation in the first place, you have two options.

You can either die and respawn, as your title was dreading, or you can briefly go into spectator mode by using /gm 3 or /gm spectator, fly out, then go back to survival with /gm 1 or /gm s
