Framerate by roughly half when inside forest. Outside of forests framerate is somewhat stable but game is prone to noticeable stuttering when moving around. Cannot seem to resolve issue. Game is modded running on 1.22.6 w/ Optimum. Issue persists without Optimum installed. Mod quantity or type does seems to have a slight affect on average performance, but does not resolve the issue with stuttering or poor performance in forests. View distance seems to have the greatest affect on framerate, but stuttering persists and framerate still drops in forests. Spent quite a while messing around w/ nvidia settings (Threaded optimization, Vsync, Low latency mode, Power management, Vulkan/openGL present method, etc.) with very little improvement. Drivers are up to date. PC specs are as follows

Ryzen 9 5900X

GeForce RTX 5070 12G

32 GB RAM

1440@180Hz

More that happy to provide more specific information if needed. I apologize if my writing is somewhat incoherent or rambling as I am not the best at communicating.

How does the vanilla game run? When you're playing with mods and encountering performance issues, it's always a good idea to disable your mods and verify that the issue can be reproduced in vanilla. If it can't, that's a strong indication that there's a problem with at least one of the mods. The easiest way to figure out which mod is being the problem, if there's no obvious culprit, is to re-enable mods one by one and test as you do so. When the issue crops back up you'll know which mod is responsible.

Providing your modlist would probably also be useful, since it's not really clear which mods you're using and how many, aside from Optimum. So it's not really possible to say what could be causing an issue there.
