I have played just shy of 320 hours of Vintage Story, 300+ of which have been in my solo survival worlds, the rest in creative to test mechanisms for said survival worlds, and exploring various unmodded online servers.

In the past two days, I have been building a small house in a new creative flat world, to fill a little creative hitch and curiosity of mine. Compared to some completely insane and high-quality builds I see on here, mine is but a humble and not that great-looking, empty house; But I wanted to post it here nonetheless, if nothing, as a marker of where my creative adventures began in Vintage Story. And in any similar games in general, for I generally spend all my time in survival…

It currently lacks any actual interior decoration, though I have spent a fair amount of time chiseling my way to heaven as I tried to make things look as seamless as possible, only to be cursed by lighting bugs. Ah…
As a side note, the only mod that has been used for adding building blocks is VS Roofing Mod. Everything else is from the base game, as far as I am aware.

Anyhow, I do not have much more to say. Feast your eyes on this one, if you want, for tonight's dinner will be very French, with an unmistakable limestone-&-oak flavour. Below are a few screenshots of it.

I am also experimenting with a similar but bigger house design, which allows for actually useful multiple rooms, and much more space to live in, even vertically. I am unsure which size of house to stay with, but I think that an easy solution to that is to build the rooms you need with everything in them, and build the house around them. It can only make it all more interesting! I hope.
