Grass (block) spreading over dirt blocks

Please consider supporting grass (blocks, not the tall grass) spreading over dirt blocks. It would make terraforming and gardening more visually aesthetic.

I searched for similar suggestions in roadmap and forum, found nothing. Sorry if duplicate.

In the meantime maybe a quick mod allowing collection of grass seeds that when planted turn farmland into grass blocks over time.

Other suggestions from the Discord channel for the temporary workaround were: craft dirt+dry grass to get grass block. Cattails can be used instead of grass. Or just dirt alone will craft into grass.
