MichaelMeow Posted April 5, 2021 Report Posted April 5, 2021 So very new to the game, but the first couple of surface drifters I killed dropped some temporal gears or flax fibers, since then I've killed probably 20 more and not one has given any sort of loot, is this normal?

Streetwind Posted April 5, 2021 Report Posted April 5, 2021 Surface drifters drop very little loot. The chance for a temporal gear is like 1% or something, so you got incredibly lucky. That said, you should still get the "loot inventory" window when you skin a dead drifter, even if it ends up empty. If that doesn't appear, then something is not right - usually, as you have found out, it's not being close enough.
