allstreets Posted June 9, 2021 Report Posted June 9, 2021 So I'm stuck at home this week recovering from surgery, and I decided I'd like to try and make a model of a neolithic house (specifically this Cucuteni-Trypillia house) in Vintage Story. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for how to recreate some of the materials here in VS - I was thinking mudbrick for the clay-ish floors seen in the picture, rough-hewn fencing for walls, haybales for roofs, but I'd love to see if anyone had better ideas. Also, to recreate the loft area - would it be possible to put roughhewn fencing horizontally for a loft floor? Or would I need to use plank slabs instead? Thanks in advance for any ideas! 1
Satras Posted June 9, 2021 Report Posted June 9, 2021 Check out "Layer of Sticks" in the in-game help.
Kolyenka Posted June 12, 2021 Report Posted June 12, 2021 limestone rock would also make a good floor/walls. but i think if you want to do the most accurate reconstruction possible, you might have to make some of your own blocks.
