Kolyenka Posted June 14, 2021 Report Posted June 14, 2021 (edited) playing on pc. i don't have the best computer in the world but even if i turn the graphics settings to the absolute lowest they can be, it still happens. everything else seems to work fine--there's no lagging, and i only get other glitches on multiplayer. this is the only glitch i've noticed in all of my single player games. not using any mods, and playing with the most recent game version. anyone else experience this? any clue what the problem might be or how to fix it? it's really disorienting. KrumpliMaster Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 I have the same issue, but it only flickers on my self hosted multiplayer server. Works just fine when in singleplayer.
Renee Katie Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Happens all the time. Very annoying. Please, someone, respond on how to fix this. RT
Helst_navngivet Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 This is just a guess, so take what i say with the approximate amount of salt in all the worlds oceans to the power of 38. This sounds like one of these two things: 1. your driver is incompatible/outdated with vintage story, and should be reasonably easy to fix by updating it. (only works if outdated) 2. something in vintage storys shaders are corrupted. Reinstalling should fix this, but it might be a little frustrating. 3. the very way vintage story renders everything is corrupted. Reinstalling should probably fix this. 4. its a hardware issue (very unlikely from what you described) 5. its some amalgamation of the above. I have no idea how to help with this other than the classic "reinstall" im sorry i couldnt be of much help.
Dark Thoughts Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Variable refresh rate settings can cause issues like this. I had to disable it in my OS because it would cause short black screens every now and then with my monitor, especially under load.
