Ariven Posted July 18, 2021 Report Posted July 18, 2021 Hi, is there any way that I can set the year back on my local Vintage Story game? For some reason I really enjoy the world being in the 1300's and I accidentally set the time forward into the 1400s via a "/time add" command. 1
Ariven Posted July 18, 2021 Author Report Posted July 18, 2021 Found the answer, just add a negative number via the "/time add" command. /time add -100 will wind the clock back. 2

I tried this in v.1.19.8 and it no longer works, it now has a validation because apparently going back in time can break parts of the game. ./server.sh command "/time add -100" VintagestoryServer.dll process found ... executing command 16.1.2025 16:43:38 [Notification] Handling Console Command /time add -100 16.1.2025 16:43:38 [Notification] Only positive values are allowed
Maelstrom Posted January 17, 2025 Report Posted January 17, 2025 Oh yeah. Going back in time in game is an exceedingly BAD idea. I would think the shattered temporal stability would be enough warning, but ooooohhh no, some seraphs just gotta play with time. 2
