Balduranne Posted June 14, 2018 Report Posted June 14, 2018 I don't think many people play it, but Warframe is an online game with a surprisingly fair F2P system. The titular Warframes are, in essence, robotic puppets which function as characters with different abilities. The combat system is fast paced with a multitude of options to dispatch the enemies. One caveat is that, while it's gorgeous, it's not for everyone - The multitude of light and particle effects are likely to cause eystrain, sensory overload or seizures to people prone to these conditions. With that out of the way - The game is great. It keeps getting updated, and you really don't need to spend any money on it. The premium currency is used to trade with other players (And can be gained in such fashion) or to purchase cosmetics off the store. You CAN buy guns and frames through it, but it's a waste of money, as they are available normally. Does anyone here play it?

I played it for a while, but then both my friends abandoned the game so I haven't really played it since. I might end up going back to it soon, as my other big timesink game was Destiny 2, and that is in a horrid place right now.

My only con with it is that there is so much content, it's hard to get new people into it and it's hard for returning players to get a grasp of things again along with any changes made. I still really love it and the entire concept though.
BabaTheFool Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 Warframe is weird, amazing and hilarious. Its a grindy mmo but honestly, what mmo isnt? Truly amazing community and has had constant updates and support for years. The story is fantastic and well worth looking into.

It's been about 2 1/2 years since I last played and I still consistently listen to "We all Lift Together", "For Narmer" (avoid for spoilers), and "Sleeping in the Cold Below" 1
