I hate suggesting a trashcan so I am suggesting an alternative. Perhaps compost or animal fodder for used organic material (reed baskets, hay bales, hay beds...) and for higher level crafted materials that they could be scrapped at a special table with some expenditure of time for some of the original crafting materials.
