Chrysander Posted February 5, 2022 Report Posted February 5, 2022 Has anyone else noticed weather oddities such as clouds (and precipitation, especially snow) vanishing after sleeping? After loading into the world, there are clouds but after sleeping through the night, the clouds are gone and the skies are cloudless and blue forever. Temeratures are a bit erratic, too. I have noticed that there was mention of fixed daily temperature variation in the release notes of 1.16.2-rc.1 - is it possible the fix... well, didn't? -Chrysander
Chrysander Posted February 5, 2022 Author Report Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Okay. The culprit was most likely a mod. I am a dumb and should have tested for that in the first place. After removing said mod not only does VS load a LOT faster, the issue with the wonky weather is fixed, too. Edited February 5, 2022 by Chrysander
Chrysander Posted February 5, 2022 Author Report Posted February 5, 2022 In my case, it appears to have been ZEEkea. Which used to throw some errors in the logs, but the weather acting up is new since 1.16.3. So it seems that happened between 1.16.1 and 1.16.3.
berner Posted June 3, 2024 Report Posted June 3, 2024 Old topic but thought ID try this. Im having the same issue, load the game and there are clouds until I sleep and the next morning theres nothing, even if i wait for days until I save and load the game again. I have no mods running, im wondering if anyone is having this issue and if anyone found a way to fix this?
