  1. With the recent addition of mounts and sailing—alongside more interactive methods of transporting items—I think it makes sense to expand the game’s world with larger maps and more distant, exotic biomes. This would deepen the trading system, making it more engaging and rewarding. Imagine traveling far from your home biome to find rare items, resources, or decorative pieces that are difficult or even impossible to obtain locally, then either using them yourself or bringing them back to trade. To fit this within a game world shaped by the fall of a long-lost civilization, a natural progression would be introducing a system that allows players to attract or discover NPCs who can join their base—something similar to what Terraria offers. It would reinforce the feeling that the player is rebuilding a new world from the remnants of the old, and make singleplayer gameplay feel less isolating as progress is made. I’ve always felt that systems like Minecraft’s villages and trading were too simplistic, and that mods like TerraFirmaCraft—while detailed and immersive—can sometimes feel like a hermit simulator in singleplayer. Don’t get me wrong: there’s a unique joy in living alone in a rustic lodge in a peaceful forest. That experience should absolutely remain possible. But having the option to grow that homestead into a village or even a bustling town over time would offer players a meaningful sense of progression. It would also make the detailed systems and hard-earned advancements feel all the more impactful and alive.
