  1. Yikes, that's really weird. My first thought is something wrong with the monitor, some of the pixels going bad, even though it went away after closing the game. Second thought is graphics incompatibility, have you messed with the graphics settings at all? Updated drivers?
  2. I would call this more a minor oversight than a bug, but I noticed that the player model in the character menu seems to be flipped/mirrored compared to the player model in game. I bought a bracelet from a trader and wore it, and I eventually noticed that while the bracelet appears on my right arm (relative to the character's POV) in the character menu, it appears on my left arm if I use F5 to view my character from the front.
  3. Hey all, not sure where to post this as there isn't an Introductions board, so lemme know if I've flubbed, lol. Hello! I'm TorandoChaser. And yes, it's meant to be misspelled. I sometimes went by TornadoChaser a long time ago, but when it came time to make a Minecraft username it was already taken, so I went for the somewhat humorous misspelled version and have stuck with that ever since. People still call me Tornado sometimes because the eyes like to see it spelled correctly, and they're always a lil' bamboozled when they take a closer look. XD I'm brand new to VS, though I've already put about 50 hours into my first world since I got it on the 23rd of September, and lemme just say I am absolutely loving it. This game has everything I always wanted from Minecraft but never got, though MC will always have a special place in my heart. For being an early access game, VS is incredibly detailed (I was shocked to see my roosters fighting each other once in a while just like they do in real life), and I am loving every minute of it. I first learned of the game through PSJ on youtube, and when I saw "survival game at it's finest" in the video title, I knew he'd struck gold before I even watched it. Bought it a few days later for both myself and my brother and he's having a blast playing it too. The music, especially, is incredible. The devs have done an amazing job, both with the game and their philosophy surrounding it, and I can hardly wait to see what's next for it!
  4. I mean, plenty of games have similar mechanics to each other, doesn't mean they're copying each other. Minecraft was based off of and inspired by other block games, it's not the only game that gets to be blocky. Skyrim has a health, stamina, and mana bar, doesn't mean other RPGs with the same mechanics are copying or unoriginal. That's part of why I love Vintage Story, it takes the base idea of Minecraft, which is by no means unique to or can only exist in Minecraft, and takes it down a different path. VS has what I'd been fruitlessly searching for in Minecraft for years.
  5. Hello, noob here. I know that you have to feed animals in order for them to breed, but do I have to keep feeding them to keep them from starving or some such? I assume I don't, since exploration for further than a day's away from base would be impossible if animals had to be fed every day, but I'm running low on grains for my chickens and it's winter now... Extra side question: do pregnant animals need to be continually fed in order for their pregnancy to progress, or is it going to take the same amount of time no matter if they have no food since becoming saturated enough to breed or not?
