In a block building game it's usually focus on building a place. This is contrary to a nomadic playstyle.

This has been answered elsewhere but I can't find it at the moment. Accepting payments has a lot of legal that goes along with it. That is why most accept payments through a payment platform. Accepting paysafe at the current volumes is not worth the development time after you factor in the fees.

In order to cut down on how many times the world must be reset and prevent the case of minecraft where several mods had the same ores, some ores were added that either don't have a use yet or were specifically put there for mods to use. To find out more information please check out the wiki.

It's not random. It's on a timer, just can't remember how many days and the inventory change is based off of what type of merchant it is.

I had this happen with a computer of mine. If I remember right it was some ram that was starting to fail.

Traders change their inventory over time.

Normally this game runs on lower spec machines however there always drivers that don't play nicely. If you see performance impacts, please let us know in bugfixes with all the relevant information you can think of.

A lot of players use trees in their build for lawns, parks, and gardens. It was decided to not increase their maintenance. 

I would be surprised if they did.

We have different and more people in the community than when this was first discussed. I wonder what the current community would think of it.

Version 14 is not stable yet and is currently in the RC phase which stands for Release Candidate. In this phase new features are no longer introduced and all development goes towards bugfixes. As bugs get fixed the RC keeps increasing. Once a week or two has passed and the RC number hasn't incremented, meaning no one is finding obvious bugs anymore, it'll switch to stable.

To back up your world go to where your VS files are stored. If windows that's usually C:\Users\{User}\AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData. In VintagestorData there's a Saves file and a Backups file. Copy the worlds you want to save from the Saves file to the Backups file.

A number of youtubers have put up drifter farms for when temporal storms hit. I suggest enabling the storms if you haven't and constructing traps similar to theirs.

If you hit esc and go to settings keymapping you'll find what it is set to along with a bunch of other configurations.
