  1. True, I just thought it'd be interesting to have a endless temporal storm mode although I guess you can technically do that standing on top of one
  2. A separate action mode where you do a little challenge game tailored to each class to unlock the class (yes, they would all be locked until you complete their challenge). It would kind of be like a tutorial mode for the classes too. Hunter: You're on an expedition in steep jagged rocky mountains to hunt a bear and some wolves with a spear and bow with limited arrows. Malefactor: You have to travel uhh ~4,000 blocks on foot and forage to stop from starving Clockmaker: You're in a cave fighting a swarm of locusts and have to retrieve an artifact. Blackguard: Bar fight and tight rope walking after you drank a barrel of ale Tailor: You collect flax twine in the fields and have to craft garments for the king that will impress him (pre-rot period?) NEW CLASS Alchemist (this class is loosely inspired by a specific character ifykyk: You're inside underground rooms during an endless heavy temporal storm to collect a large book of wonder. (Alchemist weapon: acid-coated mace. Dressed like a wizard. They're special craftable would be a chemistry set which would allow you to produce the acid to add to the mace/temporal ooze which you can craft a temporal bomb with to slow down actions of enemies in a large area/a chemical that when dumped on ground turns into crystal spikes to be laid as traps). Bronze contraptions would also be added to the game. I assume y'all might have better ideas for alchemist class (or maybe an inventor) abilities/craftables and uses for said contraptions but these are just what I could grab off the top of my head.
  3. This would be more balanced yeah. I think lightning rods would become much more relevant with an air balloon, and if your balloon gets damaged and pops then you can use the (classic) glider to land safely.
  4. Something I find interesting is that the story location contraptions center heavily around bronze, yet, like the OP, bronze is usually a blink for me because it's a tiny steppingstone to iron. I think they need to add weird gadgets supplemental to the mechanical system that require bronze to feel more aligned with its usefulness in the lore. What would those be specifically idk but it'd feel more integrated
  5. Maybe a steampunk engine you attach to the glider that drains a temporal gear every 4 hours. Half the time you'd be like gaining altitude and the other half gliding.
  6. Tent recipe that requires like 15 leather + straw bed and it allows you to sleep w/o being f'ed with
  7. It might be difficult mechanically to add some of this stuff but I think the 'rift ward' could play a big part in this. It would prevent your base from being interfered with in the storm but then again it's too late-game to be helpful mid-game where I think it'd be fair for the player to be able to make it. I think these are great ideas though
  8. Had same issue, I'm surprised it's still a problem but apparently it couldn't be replicated but I'm glad the /tp worked
  9. I just find it annoying getting darted by 3 or so bowtorn at the same time which is why I put up the columns, I just hate my shield losing durability. It's still manageable though, I might do the same. I have good enough armor to 'farm' instead of hiding
  10. Before they added bowtorn and shivers I had a 2-block tall wall circle I would hunt off of which was money against dbl head drifters, now I just have a flat surface with several stacks of blocks around. I think I've seen one double head drifter this entire time? ;(
  11. My last trip to pick up my remaining items at the 3rd story location took ~20 hours one way. Full sprint almost the whole time avoiding mountains and lakes. I've done a lot of night riding so I'm used to that, even did it during a heavy temporal storm which was hard AF cuz the ground gets wavy. Something to note, I don't have 'item drop on death' on because the whole running back to where you died with no gear got aggravating although I rarely die now but stupid deaths happen. Also, I use one temporal gear on the location I'm going to and set up a little base and when I'm done use another gear at my house. Even though surface drifters are annoying they are a pretty good source of temporal gears because they're so numerous. also, if i fall in a hole I use a rope ladder to climb out then use the elk flute to warp it out also also, i have my shears selected in my hotbar for whenever I run into leaf block hell
