You have your assets folder, modicon, and modinfo in a folder named dreamybell_1.0 in the zip . Just the mod files go into the zip, no container folder. I'm sorry I don't know how to explain it properly but try this file. I didn't check your code (I wouldn't know if it was right or not anyways). Hope it works for you. Actually there isn't any code, you're going to have to come up with a patch json file to tell the game to replace the sound. But what I said about the folder inside the zip holds true. I'm sorry to hear about the lag, MiraLeaps has made a lot of progress to date, perhaps the issue has been addressed? As far as scale goes you can have a lot of villagers, although I do not know of a maximum before issues would appear. I had a large village with 30 or so villagers with no issues (unfortunately I can no longer load that world to see exactly how many). Villagers will stop working and sometimes wander off to the unknown but that is all explained or was explained in the mod description. Either way I wish you luck!
