Did anyone end up picking this up and making a mod?

Quick question if I may. Does this mod affect the spawn of Horsetail, and berries, or is it just my seed/biom. I've started a new game with this mod, and I'm about 3 hours in, and haven't seen any yet. Thanks. Never mind, must have been a seed/biom thing. Leaving it here just in case someone else comes to ask this question.
