This only seems to make mashed gozinaki for me:image.thumb.png.09ee6230176f4c0838d7b87d93b00731.png

Yes, that's a bit of a quirk. Honey + sunflower grain will SPECIFICALLY make gozinaki, but if you use any kind of syrup that IS NOT honey, it should make sunflower candy.

  2. Updated to 1.5.5!
    - Stone path slab no longer conflicts with vanilla stone path stair recipe (thanks to AdrianNumbers!)
    - Fixed Paths compatibility added (thanks to AdrianNumbers!)
    - Polish translation added (thanks to AdrianNumbers!)
    - Slab recipes require fewer stones

I found the cause! It's the Ovens from Decor Bazaar that do it, which also explains why fried foods keep their extra nutrition!
So nothing to worry about on your end!
Guess I'm gonna have to keep those as decorations .

I think I can tell you exactly how to fix it. Go into that oven's .json file and change its class to "ExpandedOven". That's what I patch the regular ovens with. I'm not sure if that will break anything in that mod, though.

I don't think so, not really. I'm always happy to add translation files to the mod.

I'm failing to make sunflower candy. I seem to be putting in the correct ratio of ingredients (1 sunflower grain per 0.1L of honey) in the mixing bowl with a cooking pot in the bottom left slot, but it is not showing a product or allowing me to mix. I've got a whole lot of honey and sunflower grain I'd like to process.

Remove the cooking pot, you only need that to make salad, cold pasta, and yogurt meals.

    Hiya!

I wanted to ask how I could increase the Saturation of Sausages and the like in meals, I've poked around the jsons for a bit and could only figure out how to increase their Sat on their own.
Also in my game sausages and fruit bread seem to lose their extra nutrition from things added during mixing/kneading after being baked, is that intentional?

    Thanks in advance ^^

You can add `nutritionPropsWhenInMeal` in the attributes area. Check out some of the other foods for an example.

Also, NO they should not be losing extra nutrition! Your sausage should be REALLY good in meals and you shouldn't need to increase it! 😱 Did this only start happening recently?

  5. Updated to 1.1.4!

    ~1.19_v1.1.4~

    - BlockBottle crashing fixed again (thanks to Pursec)
    - XSkills compatibility updated or something? (thanks to Xandu & Pursec)
    - Trader dialogue expanded (for now; some more will appear when Expanded Foods is installed)
    - Wildcraft Trees re-integrated (bottle/meat racks & rolling pin work with new wood)

@Ralfy Can you try clearing your mod cache folder? It should be in the same folder containing your logs. You can also try expanding your atlas texture size. I forget how to do that, but it should be around these forums if you look for it. This happens to a lot of people.

Thanks, that is logical. I was just confused by the fact that I put the balls in and it brought up the "will create" message, suggesting that it would work.

It would work. You'd just be cooking it like normal, as if you were just using the firepit -  you wouldn't be boiling it.

Under 1.6.8 and 1.19.4, "boiling" as per the handbook (place item to be boiled in cauldron or saucepan) doesn't seem to work.  The UI notes what should happen, but the cooking process never starts.  Here's an example with balls:

    BoilBalls.JPG

You're just trying to cook it like normal. You need 0.1 L of oil in order to fry stuff in the cauldron like that.

Hi!  You're freaking amazing, just so you know.  Unfortunately we added this into our EF mod .zip file both locally and on our server and the glue function still won't work.  Can we just add it in straight to the zip file itself or do we have to extract the folder first?

You should be able to just add that file to the location I menioned and have it work. It worked for me, but if you have other mods that mess with resin then who knows what might happen.

  9. Good news: 1.7.0 will be the biggest update yet!
Neutral news: It won't have much new content, but will have a ton of bugfixes, updated compatibility, and general QoL.
Bad news: My changelog has 40 entries and I haven't even STARTED on fixing the Wildcraft stuff yet. 😁

I haven’t been able to get trail mix to work, but am playing on a heavily modded server. Any specifics that need to be followed?

    image.png.529963ff4e4bbce8e2d9bffaed226d96.png

It's working on my machine. The first four ingredients on the left are mandatory, AND you need to add one of them again into the fifth and/or sixth slots to make a specific kind of trail mix - such as fruity trail mix or cheesy trail mix.

It does not fully work in 1.19.3. Most of the recipes don't provide bonuses and offer little satiety, so they are cost-ineffective to cook.

It's an awesome mod and I'd really love to be use it fully...

Extra nutrients are working fine for me in 1.19.4. I'm not sure why you'd be able to make the items but they still don't have extra nutrition - I haven't seen that before.

Hi, was wondering if the Wildcraft compatibility will be updated to the Herbarium mods, or if I should try and jury-rig it myself.
Also, wondering if Butchery could/would get a compatibility patch, as the smoked meat seems to stop working in meals when Expanded Foods is installed.
Thank you for the excellent mod, I literally never play without it.

I'm working on brushing up Ancient Tools compatibility right now, but that's to get me ready to tackle Wildcraft and Herbarium. They'll be included in the next update.

Is there a possibility, to add stackability to the gelatin? Every stack i split, i can't stack anymore, even though the details are the same.

    Would really appreciate that :)

The max stack size is already 16. I guess I can increase it to 32.

Finally starting to explore ACA and EF after coming across them briefly on a server a year ago.

Is there a way to make jam using dried/dehydrated fruit?  I thought I read that dried fruit could substitute in for fresh fruit in recipes, but try as I might, I can't get jam to work with dried fruit (which makes sense IRL as you'd need some water in the mixture).  Have I just missed something, or is it not possible?  Do you maybe need to rehydrate the berries?  If that's the case, I'm insanely impressed by l33tmaan's attention to detail!  I must have missed something in the handbook...

Hah, no. I take pride in my attention to detail but this isn't one of those situations. Nothing in Expanded Foods actually touches jam... at all. Because jam sucks and I literally never make it in-game. Fruit cannot be re-hydrated either. If i could do that without it completely resetting the perish timer, then I would - but I think if I tried that now then you could just keep dehydrating and rehydrating fruit forever.

I plan on making my own jam some day. Eventually.

Does it solve the issue with cookware traders replacing every other trader?

Uhh, judging from comments on the ModDB, it seems not. Funny, because I only see one every thousand or two-thousand blocks when I test it myself. Some people say it replaced like 7 out of 8 traders they ran into? I thought boosting minGroupDistance would fix that, but I guess not...

Im making syrup using the cauldrun, but I can't make it in batches larger than 1l -> 0.3l, which seems to be quite small and is the same as a saucepan. Is this the intended limit, or am I missing something?

No, the cauldron can hold up to 50 L of liquid.

Does the herbal tea recipe still exist (1.6.8 on 1.19.3)? I can't find it in the handbook, but with the revamp of how wildcraft even works I can understand why it might not. Don't think the server even has wildcraft, either, but before I go bugging the op to add it I'd like to know the recipe exists 😅.

I do think there's room for teas to be expanded to use vanilla plants, you can make tea (well, technically tisanes) out of basically any sort of leaf. The various vanilla trees (may need a separate mod to make the leaves obtainable), flowers and even mushrooms could all be infused in water.

No. Wildcraft said they'd do it years ago and never got around to it.

  14. Updated to 1.1.1!

    - Cookware trader spawn chance reduced from 10.0 to 1.0
    - ALL THE TRADER'S FANCY TOOLS AND CYLINDERS REMOVED BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAY TO PROTECT THEM (TYRON PLZ FUCKING FIX WAT DA HELL)
    - 2 secret bottles of Soulstorm Brew added to spawnhouse, for good luck
