  1. Oooh! Maybe it only cooks liquids, then. That's how salt water gets turned into the salt crystals.
  2. It would work. You'd just be cooking it like normal, as if you were just using the firepit - you wouldn't be boiling it.
  3. Oh no, is it because Primitive Survival lets you make those neat little irrigation furrows? I'll have to let my farmer friend know, lol
  4. Oh, also - I've heard the Herbarium/New Wildcraft stuff is still kind of broken right now. Will y'all be mad if I release 1.7.0 without that compatibility yet?
  5. You're just trying to cook it like normal. You need 0.1 L of oil in order to fry stuff in the cauldron like that. You should be able to just add that file to the location I menioned and have it work. It worked for me, but if you have other mods that mess with resin then who knows what might happen.
  6. Good news: 1.7.0 will be the biggest update yet! Neutral news: It won't have much new content, but will have a ton of bugfixes, updated compatibility, and general QoL. Bad news: My changelog has 40 entries and I haven't even STARTED on fixing the Wildcraft stuff yet.
  7. Yes, it will.
  8. I'm working on updating to 1.7.0, but if you NEED your pitch glue to work now, throw this file into your Expanded Foods .zip file under assets/game/patches. glue.json
  9. Updated to 1.1.3! - Hotfix: Cookware trader spawn chance reduced from 1.0 to 0.1
  10. It's working on my machine. The first four ingredients on the left are mandatory, AND you need to add one of them again into the fifth and/or sixth slots to make a specific kind of trail mix - such as fruity trail mix or cheesy trail mix. Extra nutrients are working fine for me in 1.19.4. I'm not sure why you'd be able to make the items but they still don't have extra nutrition - I haven't seen that before. I'm working on brushing up Ancient Tools compatibility right now, but that's to get me ready to tackle Wildcraft and Herbarium. They'll be included in the next update. The max stack size is already 16. I guess I can increase it to 32. Hah, no. I take pride in my attention to detail but this isn't one of those situations. Nothing in Expanded Foods actually touches jam... at all. Because jam sucks and I literally never make it in-game. Fruit cannot be re-hydrated either. If i could do that without it completely resetting the perish timer, then I would - but I think if I tried that now then you could just keep dehydrating and rehydrating fruit forever. I plan on making my own jam some day. Eventually.
  11. Uhh, judging from comments on the ModDB, it seems not. Funny, because I only see one every thousand or two-thousand blocks when I test it myself. Some people say it replaced like 7 out of 8 traders they ran into? I thought boosting minGroupDistance would fix that, but I guess not...
  12. No, the cauldron can hold up to 50 L of liquid.
  13. Updated to 1.1.2! - Cookware trader minGroupDistance increased from 700 to 2000 - Spawnhouse tools actually removed this time, I guess
  14. No. Wildcraft said they'd do it years ago and never got around to it.
  15. Updated to 1.1.1! - Cookware trader spawn chance reduced from 10.0 to 1.0 - ALL THE TRADER'S FANCY TOOLS AND CYLINDERS REMOVED BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAY TO PROTECT THEM (TYRON PLZ FUCKING FIX WAT DA HELL) - 2 secret bottles of Soulstorm Brew added to spawnhouse, for good luck
  16. Yes, it works in 1.19.3.
  17. Empty it into the mixing bowl or saucepan's input slots, then you can grab it.
  18. Updated to 1.1.0, baby!! ~1.19_v1.1.0~ - Cookware trader actually spawns in-game - French translation actually included this time (sorry about that) - based bugfixes from Pursec: -- Hopeful fix for liquid outputs to properly go into cauldron/saucepan -- Bottles can emit light when held -- Fixed dedicated server/subsequent rejoin patching issues and saucepan display issues -- Cracking eggs doesn't cause crashes anymore -- Fix for Item ID outside of range crash
  19. Thank you! I'll get this into the next version. The fruit press won't make anything unless it has an output of at LEAST 5 liters. You need to add more seeds.
  20. Updated to 1.0.16! - Numerous fixes thanks to Pursec: -- Updated to 1.19 -- Meat hook visuals fixed -- Expanded liquids work properly in Expanded Foods -- Fixed boiling display issue -- Added foodtag "eggshell" to egg shells so they are eaten in the trough -- Bottle no longer vanishes when right-clicking on water -- Eggs can be cracked again - Polish translation updated (thanks to Sako47) - Russian translation updated (thanks to vulpeep) - French translation updated (thanks to PierreGac) - Japanese translation updated (thanks to macoto_hino) - Powered mixing bowl seals rooms (thanks to SalieriC for idea) - Mini-cauldrons made bigger when on meat hooks - Eggshells attract raccoons - Egg shell and egg yolk items updated to 1.19 visuals - Wild turkey egg yolk item & egg white/yolk/liquid added - Holding animations adjusted for new first-person view
  21. I fear you may need to do more parts, or have some really long videos. This mod is more in-depth than even I realize sometimes. Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have. That visual bug should be fixed in the upcoming release of A Culinary Artillery. Apparently I commented that display functionality out and never realized it. Oops! That was a request from @ruggbean to help out with his More Candles mod. It was mostly his idea and I followed his lead. I think hardened lard stores a bit easier as well - you can fit 64 Ls of hardened lard into a single block's space, as opposed to the 50 Ls you'd get from storing it in a cauldron, and that isn't getting into chests or crates. So yes, it is mostly just for crafting stuff. That being said, I do take suggestions, even if it takes me a while to get around to actually implementing them. My to-do list isn't going anywhere. Adding a new simmer recipe for water + hardened lard to turn it back into regular lard would be trivial... I'm just not sure if that's how it actually works. It sure would be, but maintaining the code for the recipes is hard enough on its own. Someone with more talent than I would have to write a way to visualize EF recipes in the handbook - some of the ingredient lists are STUPIDLY long.
  22. Hello! Sorry for the radio silence, the holidays hit and I got a new computer. Tried moving all my mod workspaces from Windows 7 over to Linux and that could've gone better, so I had to stop modding for a while while I got my old computer set up again. You know how life is! Anyway, I'm all set up again and I've been getting a lot of assistance updating ACA over Discord. The helpfulness of this community never stops putting a smile on my face. A lot of bugs/visual issues will be fixed and I plan on releasing a 1.19+ version this weekend. I still need to get the cookware trader to spawn properly, but that can wait for its own update.
  23. The only percentage of stability that matters is the last 5-10%, whereupon you start taking damage. That's a good cue to leave!
  24. They are still possible, and the meal has actually been buffed. You just need to crack the eggs first. Can't make scrambled eggs with shell in it, y'know?
