I've been making regular backups of the save file after every episode, especially since I like tinkering with stuff in between, and I make little intro clips with the cinematic camera. So I finish the recording, save the game, backup the file, do my stuff, and restore the original when I'm ready to record.
What I'm paranoid about is compounding errors. If it's a one time thing then I can roll back and not do the thing again that caused the issue. But if it's a small hidden thing that snowballs into a save-breaking error later, then I'm SOL.
Had to record 2 episodes on rc9, so I can only hope the only reason for the recall was that dupe-glitch, in which case it's no biggie. But it still makes me a bit paranoid.
Anyways, the flatpak is now on rc10, so thank you Tyron!
