  1. That certainly would be more efficient early game! With a large enough set of fields I don't think you'd even need to be a particularly attentive farmer.especially if you're staggering growth speeds anyways.
  2. Certain crops count as flowers for certain growth stages. it's mostly a space thing. I wanted it to be kept kind of small and compact. It doesn't help the plants GROW any, as far as I'm aware. I just liked the way it looked. I have the space cleared now (as opposed to when I built it) that I could probably build a proper bee-house zone with a little effort.
  3. it's captured that sort of weathered/worn kind of look. It may not be a pristine statue, but it carries an air of age. The details are still fully legible, though. So I don't think it's a failure at all given the constraints. if you wanted you could try rotating the chiseled blocks and carving out the interiors to give it more depth, before rotating them back into position?
  4. I did start this in 1.19! I only recently found a littttle bit of high fertility soil, but not enough to fully replace my fields, and I've been saving it to try and get some terra preta made. My worldgen was very kind with the amount of fireclay I have, I've hardly found anything else. mining and digging is something I avoided doing too much of for a long while because I turned on every kind of instability and it's a bit... punishing haha.
  5. The repeated motifs are pretty nice, breaking up otherwise solid bodies of color with a bit of contrast and texture is usually a good idea imo Definitely something I want to start looking into once I dive into chiseling.
  6. This will be my second winter in this house, after having tried to move south to warmer climes and being forced to settle as winter overtook me. Progress has been slow given a general lack of metals, but I've gotten a good push lately and I'm hoping to find some iron before my bronze reserves run out. I had a good harvest despite my mediocre soil fertility, thanks to bonemeal and just... So... SO many wolves. Combined with the salt dome I found, food is no problem this winter (last winter was a mostly wolf based diet). It's not as fancy as some of the things I've seen you folks build, but I'm pretty proud of it regardless
