  1. You need to be close to a block, like Cobblestone etc. Then put the color you want to use on your bar, then hit CTRL+F to bring up the different design choices. White Chalk, and Charcoal Black still work. Cinnabar did not work for red.
  2. Couple quick suggestions: Need to be able to add a Human Skull to a Chamberstick for display. Need to be able to add a candle on top of Human Skull, and also be able to place it on a Chamberstick. Need to be able to add Crushed Temporal Gear pieces to all Skulls which makes the eyes glow, and place them on a Chamberstick! Add Silver/Gold lined Skull Lanterns with Candles, or Temporal gear pieces.
  3. Hunter is by far the best starting class imo, because of the ranged accuracy increase and animal yield. This is because most animals run away from you, so ranged weapons are incredibly useful when hunting for food.
  4. Yes please! The Vintage Story Glider in it's current form is completely useless.
  5. Instead of just "make the glider better" They should add the ability to upgrade the Glider with a new recipe of Jonus Turbine engines that makes the Glider go 4x as far. And it would be very interesting if Players could make a 2nd set of Jonus Turbine engines that could be attached to Jonus Boots you equipped in your Feet slot, making the Glider to go another 20x as far. Now that would be fun!
  6. I never liked the death dropped "Item Despawn" timer in any survival game. It completely negates the entire purpose of the survival part of the game. If you throw an item into a lake or something, sure it should despawn after a while. But not player death dropped inventory items, weapons or gear. Just leave the Players dropped items there, so it forces the player to decide if the items are worth the risk of launching a rescue mission for. Or if they need to call their friends to log in and help with the rescue mission! Have death dropped items despawn after a year of ingame time has passed. That is how it should be.
  7. Once your Temporal Gear starts spinning down you're headed for trouble. This makes every extended Mining Expedition incredibly difficult, especially at great depths! I think Spawn activity is also related to how stable the area itself is, not just your stability or Rift weather Activity. I also think these conditions change, because I've been in pretty big cave systems and not seen a single, and I mean not ONE Drifter. Other areas, I just look down a hole and the floor is crawling with them.
  8. I've seen two versions of it so far. The 2nd one I was unable to kill after many tries, and just oneshot me.
  9. (edit) 1. Since writing this post, I got the chance to play on a Multiplayer Server with the more frequent storms, and it's a real chore. Your entire existence revolves around preparing Food and Bandages to survive storm sanity damage, because the temporal gear bottoms out and you just take damage the entire time. It's distracting, and isn't fun - even for someone like me who kills Drifters for sport. 2. The Default setting for Storm frequency should be once every 30 game days. The Storm choices should be: Off, 15days, 30days, 60days, 120days. _________________________________________________________________________ Temporal Storms don't bother me at all, I'm a Hunter Class, and outside killing Drifters for sport! The thing that really REALLY bugs me about storms is, the seasick wavy blurry screen for absolutely no reason! It greatly affects your ability to use Ranged weapons and Spears too... Vintage Story need to add a Jonus Facemask slot item to wear that cuts the seasick wavy screen out, and gives you a "Jonus Vision" green tint to the screen instead. Something players can create in the early-ish to mid-game, out of Jonus Basics, Metal Plates, Glass, etc. No Cupronickel ingots!
  10. If you can't figure out why you can't heal yourself with Salves, Bandages, and Food while fighting... It's your Armor. Heavy Plate armor is -33% Healing PER ITEM EQUIPPED! So if you're wearing the Helmet, Body, and Legs that's negative 100% Healing. Wear lighter armor with less negative effects, or retreat, unequip, heal up, re-equip, then get back in there! Hope this helps!
  11. -I'd like to see a Signal Bonfire added to the game. A huge visual marker you'd place somewhere high up on top of a hill, or up on a signal tower as a quick heads-up navigation tool to find your way back home without having to stop and open your map. At night it is very easy to get turned around especially when being chased by enemies far from home. Think of it like a giant permanent Torch Brazier to guide you home! With a smoke trail reaching high into the sky! Make it huge, made out of stone and metal, fuel source is, Whole logs, with Firewood on top, with sticks, and grass in order to light! Must be lit by a Torch, once lit the Signal Bonfire burns for 1 year straight! -I'd like to see a Lighthouse Beacon added to the game. A permanent structure you can build on top of a Windmill, Hill, or Tower but is fueled by Oil. A barrel of oil attached to the Light by a chute fuels the Lighthouse Beacon! Must be lit by a torch, and cannot be turned off - Light goes out when Oil runs out.

    Death

Just died to a Drifter 20min. ago in my Cellar during a storm, I was able to retrieve all my other items, except my Longbow completely vanished! When I killed the Drifter, he did not drop my Bow either - only a Flax Fiber. Hopefully it's just a bug that can be fixed asap before it happens to anyone else!
