looks like an good first year. Only the constant torch replacing must be annoying

i finished the outside area of my bakery with some chars table flooring fencing and roofing. the wooden flooring i copyed and made it slightly different.

Because the smithy and the warehouse wasnt connected yet i made another hallway In the future i maybe add a chiseled fence at the warehouse because you could fall into the lake

Heyho i visited my cellar floor and thought: chalkslab isnt enough for me anymore.

Thanks for the kind words last 2 days i made somethink smaller: I created a bigger lake and made a small bridge in my area out of cheap materials: some sorts of planks and treelogs and andesite for the nails.

i finished the entrance of the beehivekiln with the torchholders and some more mosaics.

After over 6 Month a made some progress because i was in the right mood to chisel: Unfortnatly i deleted my old world but made copys of my builds and implemented it into a new world I made 2 thinks: I made a roofing into the beehivekiln room, on top i made some moasic and i made a mosaic at 1 wall. the entrance to this fault isnt chiseled jet but if i finish it i let you know

You probably remember the post of my unfinished house at 2023. After some time playing Rimworld Odysee i was in the VS Mood and made some progress at the House: In short i splitted the room into 2 sections. Front with the old Oven and new wall. Second part has a libaryfront. This part has now no hole in the walls anymore (so lazy me finished backside of the building XD) but floors and side walls still unfinshed.

well easy answer lets it rot in spring you can make compost and than tera petra out of it. Or donate the leftover food partly spoiled for a drifter charity foundation.

If Peta sees your pigpen you get big problems with animal right laws i asume. i bet they stand kneedeep in at least you have some meat in storage

Hm an interesting design the House: i have 3 recomendations at least for my beauty taste: 1. you could make the roof block further than the walls most roof in rl have this feature 2. the overhanging windows need some chiseled frames because well it looks than more natural but only for my taste. 3. Another colour look bricks maybe would split up the white texture of the bedroom maybe add a baseboard out of some type of material im curious how the house looks if its finished

Heyho i say its clay waddle and daub blocks in green and yellow and the red is bauxite. The Dirt is Tera Petra like always i was to lazy to finsh one projekt and did a small Cellar beautification. The Design has atm 21 Clay Pots Storage Capazity.

Heres an Update: I made a Sphereshaped Beehivekiln. Later i added 4 Lanterns for Lighting. And you see an overview of my buildings ^^ In the Back i made an entrance for the Parts below for fire the damn think. Inside i decided myself for flower decoration but ceiling is still missing.

Sad house sorry for youre loss. I made my pit killns in a small hut with stone flooring. And if you so wood as Material dont forget the lightning rod because i cant see one or a lightning strike will ignite your House aswell

well the map is pretty old i usually update anyways. until now nothing important is corrupted ^^# i only use the workbench mod recently someone patched it to 1.20. but its quite hard to find the new stuff because well i alway need to go further away from known territory

Here a small update: i planned another House: it should be a new bakery. the second floor is a bit sterile for my taste. Atm i have only problem in accsess to my slatemine because new mobs are a bit stronger i noticed... and i didnt play for a while so my gambeson steel sword combo isnt good enough for it anymore And i should build an beehivekiln for my clay needs. Finding red clay on and that old map would be another goal but quite hard to achieve

well the Area of the House location was in the past a small lake. and the lakes between the House was one bigger. It was the first proper House i dont call logblocks in tent shape against a wall a house . But it was the first House i would call a House.

Here a small update: I never posted my starthouse (i first made) it isnt that fancy but okey i guess.

So i am done for now with my Windmill: Updated the Roof a bit now its decend. Than i added 4 Lanterns beneath the balkony heres 2 pictures of it. And i forgot i had an old rectangle chicken coop underground. I decided i chisel it a bit so its decend to look at it. The 2 small sections with the stairs arent done yet.

HIHo you remember this old Picture? i reworked the Mill a bit but i must confess at the time i had to make the roof i was burned out on it so i chiseled a simple roof on it that doesnt please me well at least better than before.

Here i have a small Update: I am not very satisfied with my honey farm spot: (atm 2 stoneblocks and on top are the beehives) For that reason i planed in the past a small fence beehive gardens with 4 trees the behives will be in planted Tree at the sides of the Treelogs in all four directions. And i made a Bench for sitting on in it aswell. For that piece of furniture i have a detailed Paperdrawing (beware its most of the time not 100% accurate) I made it in about 1,5 Hours so it isnt that fancy and drawing costed me about 1/3 of the time. First Picture Bench Front, Second is from the Side. (and a roughly planned shape of the Beehivegarden) Third ingame Bench. Here the Garden Area with Shield: on the left you see the primitive beehive Spots quite ugly but did the job very long time. (and the small Building is a very small bakery nit very fancy aswell but didnt was in a modd to replace it ^^# Last Picture with a small angle: The Trees arent grown jet so no small platform chiseling yet: First sayed

i always draw my pictures 1x1 so 1 checkered tile is 1/16 of a block. you can easy count 8cm x8cm is 1 block you chisel. You see the small Cross in the middle? its the center arround 4 blocks.

Second example i saw a Bee drawed by a child at the Street i made a Picture with my Phone than i made a drawing at a piece of paper: Endresult is this Sign below.

Well unfortnatly i am not very talented with making Videos but i can give all Player the advise to find a real life Image you like and try to make it. For better preparation drawing a scheme on a checkerboard paper often helps. Plan than materials and start making the almost unchiseled house. Add decoration than later. for example my Warehouse was this picture: the Middle Building with the white stripes. For comparison here the partly finished version from myself: Its not 1 to 1 copied but an idea for making somethink. Im not that good in making the exact copy of somethink and in some points its not possible (or you need to make it bigger but than its damn to much work) and i can really recommend the Workbench mod played long without it but copying the same over and over is pretty tidious. Unfortnatly i dont have the Paper drawing anymore but it wasnt very detailed.
