DetailedAnimals seems to be the issue, i had the same problem and removed that and GeneLib and the issue is fixed! - Mostly putting this here for the sake of others who may have the same issue -

Okay so, with Advertise off, it tells me it can connect, but when i try i cant connect to it. The advertise function seems to be the connection issue, i have no idea wtf is going on with this system :| I'll post again if i can get a friend to connect, but it seems like i'll have to use a tunneling system to connect friends -

Found that the server loads data from: AppData\Roaming\VintagestoryData I wiped the folder, started the server again, waited for it to finish and then closed it and checked the new folder, found the ServerConfig and switched UPNP from false to true, and now it works! I also set a port fowarding rule on my router, however that alone did not fix the issue, so i believe the fix was specifically wiping the VintagestoryData //media.invisioncic.com/r268468/emoticons/smile.png - - - Nevermind, suddenly stopped working.
