Now that fishing has announced, i think the way fish work shoud be changed, both for "realism", fun and convinience Instead of having to carve up every single fish, what if we could just pick them up? When fishing, you could catch live fish, wich slowly die over time and can be released back into the water to make fish tanks or if you want to fish for fun, and dead fish can also be picked up. Then, on addition to carving the fih to get the meat, you can also "prepare" a fish, to remove all the scales and all the gross parts and get a "big" meat item shaped like the fish you caught. Basically, every fish can be proccesed in one of two ways: carving the fish to get multiple meat items, or clean the fish and get one bigger meat item, with every fish having different sizes, with bigger fish giving more/bigger meat. I thought this was a good idea and wanted to share it, also a smaller and cheaper boat whould be nice, like the raft but slightly bigger

you'll be fine. i started my current save with barely any rops and by the start of the first winter i have a storage vessel full of food

...is your inventory full? you have a limit on how many things you can carry. (i know its a dumb question but just in case) if you are taling about foods, the game will not combine items with different spoileage times automatically if u can send a screenshot of your inventory se we can see whats up

i'd like for one of the final quests be about going into the rust world, maybe all the story things we collect are for repairing a machine that can capture and open rifts to let us through and get something special from an abandoned outpost in the rust world or close rifts of a specific area or sm

tip for fighting in the early game: use spears. tons of spears. you can easily kill bears by spamming spears

Also, yo can just use water run into a pond, and smack the wolf/s with a spear till they die, and if they run away throw spear at em bears are easy too, just make 10 flint spears and throw them at the bear, if it takes too much damage it will retreat, and you can throw spears very fast

Is it rare? beacuse in my current world i have AT LEAST 10 large veins colse to my home, and one below it, and for all i have played i have barely used any of it. also, if you look at the stats, peat is objectively better than firewood, as it burns for a second longer(25s vs 24s) and at 900º instead of 700º, and i also like digging better than cutting trees so, any opinions?

Hi, i just started playing the game recently and, is there any way to get sticks other than punching bushes? i noticed cutting trees doesen't give that many sticks and i need a lot for my pit kilns, is there a way to turn wood into sticks or get more sticks somehow?
