Yea, it wasn't when I'd freshly made the world though. It was when I logged into the world the second time -

I'm not using any mods yet, I'm still very new to this game :3 When I spawned into the world I spawned in the middle of a giant desert that's completely barren so I travelled very far to find a more suitable location Also I think I figured out what the problem was. I was too close to ruins, maybe? Cuz every time I walked away from my base, the sanity wheel started spinning up and when I got back to base it very quickly dropped to 0% There are 5 different little ruin thingies around my old base. I'm assuming they're what caused the issues cuz ever since I moved to a new location, my sanity is no longer going down :3 I made sure to turn off temporal storms in the settings when creating the world but was there maybe a way to turn off monster spawning as well? -

I started a new world yesterday and I made sure to set the temporal storms setting to OFF. When I logged into the world just now I was thrown directly into a temporal storm and my sanity cogwheel thingy is at 0% Was there another setting I needed to check? Also, as a sidenote, how do I regain sanity once it reaches 0%? Thanks for any help
