  2. Hey folks, Wandered back to the game after quite a while. Is there a way to repair armor nowadays? Also, what is a good armor set to shoot for for basic cave exploration? Thanks in advance!
  3. I'm totally on board with this too. The musical sounds are definitely immersion breaking for me. Let's have the option to turn it off.
  4. A few random thoughts... I'm sure they've probably already been mentioned. A faster road option - maybe paved so it's more resources intensive but goes faster. I've got some long roads! Rope - you could tie off and use to climb into/out of the big shaft like caves Flower box - could be attached to the wall Speed up animal breeding - Has anyone every gotten to level 10 farm animals?!? lol! A device that can help you find underground ruins A device that can stop drifter spawns for bases - one that's area is upgradable with more/better resources - to replace having to space out lanterns to stop spawns in your fields and outdoor work areas Elevator - faster ladder travel because some of them can be quite long Machinery for sluicing sand - also add sand with more gold or silver to go prospecting for
  5. Hey folks, Like the title says, I'd like to build a fairly large area outside of my main base that won't have drifters spawning at night. I'd like to go tend crops, chop trees etc without being bothered. Spawning during a temporal storm is fine. I've built a wall and carefully spaced lanterns twenty blocks from each other in a staggered grid pattern. It should stop spawns but all the lanterns don't look very appealing. Is there an alternative? Wish there was some type of anti-night time-spawn device we could build. Make it resource intensive so you couldn't spam the landside with them lol! Thanks in advance!
  6. Many thanks! I've had a few drifters jump down from buildings but they must have just found a way to get on to the roof.
  7. Hey folks, The wiki says the spawn on solid tiles with light level less than 8. Will drifters spawn on sloped roof tiles? Do I need to light roofs to have a spawn proof area during the night? I know temporal storms are a different matter. Thanks in advance!

  9. Hey folks, I'm curious about what features you have to have to put a lot of time into a new seed. What do you have to have? Starting out, I look for a good supply of cat tails, stone that can be made into tools, some trees etc. Later, I need to be able to find some iron and hopefully the components to make leather.

  11. Hey folks, I'd like to relocate to somewhere warmer in my world. Is it possible to move far enough to affect the average temperature? How would you determine which way to go (north or south)? Is there some way to determine the direction to the equator? Thanks in advance!

  14. Hey folks, Quick question about trees. When manually planted as a seed, do trees continue to grow after their initial growth stage? Seems to me like pine and birch do not while oak and maple do. Just trying to figure out if there is a point to waiting to chop down trees. Thanks in advance!
  15. Hey folks, I haven't been able to find any of the top of the line dirt. Instead, I'm looking to use rot to make composted soil. Does anyone have recommendations on an efficient way to farm/gather material to rot? I haven't found any so far. I let my game meat rot but there's not a ton of that. Thanks in advance!

  17. Hey folks, Noob here and I need a little help with creative mode. I switch to game mode 2 and get the creative inventory to pop up just fine. I get the populated skep I'm looking for but can't drag or drop it into my inventory bar. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!
