  1. That doesn't mean anything. "AI" isn't consistent and it doesn't know anything. Don't rely on it.
  2. I'm not an artist, I'm actually a developer. You are talking about a creative endeavor as if its a numbers game. My point was that looking at it that way omits the importance of quality and how time taken increases with quality. If you are making something you intend for others to use, quality over quantity is important for finding an actual audience. Why would someone use a hastily made ai texture pack when Vintage Story already has beautiful textures. I'll admit I was abrasive.
  3. Depends on what your goal is. If you just want a texture, maybe. If you want something good, definitely not. Artists don't generate, they create. Creation takes time. There are a lot of factors that determine how much time. I can give you 5000 32x32 images right now, but they would all be black squares.
  4. If a tool has a condition that lowers with use and restoring it costs durability, doesn't that effectively just mean the tool will overall have lower durability that it does currently? I understand the logic behind repair lowering durability, but from a gameplay perspective I'm not sure it makes sense to have two different metrics for a tool that are directly tied to each other like that.
  5. I think its probably due to a combination of people not knowing how to make a mod server side only and not knowing recipes can be server side only
  6. All the games you gave as examples are far more combat focused than Vintage Story. I wouldn't expect combat like that from this game
  7. Panning will no longer have those drops in 1.21
  8. From mod DB terms of use:
  9. I was wondering if anyone knows any key switches that sound somewhat similar to the typing sounds in Vintage Story? I have come to really like that sound. Thanks!
  10. Very excited for this update, particularly some of the smaller changes like survival pick block and being able to use crocks on shelves!
  11. I did a basic search through the moddb and found one mod that mentions using .obj files, though it doesn't seem to be actively developed
  12. I can't seem to find the mod you referred to, do you have any info or a link?
