How does it work with already existing world? Is there a way to find different place (for example if I would walk in one direction for a long time, etc)?

Hey, I'm wandering around to find a nice place to live, but there's a problem. While I like the game mechanics, I hate the biomes a lot and am wondering if I found them all or if there is a chance to find an interesting biome for the base .
