Hey weirdo's, just trying to figure out if ashlar blocks are suitable for preserving all of my food in my cellar. I just got done getting a bunch of ashlar blocks to spruce up my ugly cobblestone base, and I'm finally getting around to replace all of the blocks in my cellar. HOWEVER, I'm not really in the mood to tear down all of the walls in my cellar to replace them with ashlar blocks, and then learn the hard way that ashlar blocks aren't good enough for a cellar, forcing me to tear down all of the walls and replace them with cobble ( or god forbid regular basalt stone blocks ). So to prevent that, I'm hoping anybody with better knowledge of this game will give me the answer. Otherwise, I got more decorating to do, and I give my upmost thanks to anyone who responds to this forum post.
