If I run my vpn I am blocked from viewing this forum site. Why?

I'm literally posting this from a VPN right now -
Best of luck to you. Best advice I can give: Mark everything on your map properly...change the color, use the symbols, and type a name.

Boy, did you two say it. This is why I personally prefer Indie titles, because they're not bound to the whims of some overpaid executive who never touched a controller in their life. Personally, I would be leery of selling to Microsoft especially, given that they axed the studio that made Hi-Fi Rush and were considering axing Id. I don't think a big boost in popularity would kill VS, but it definitely would change some things. I know I recommend the game to a lot of my friends, but most of my friends like these kinds of games.

Except that the Rot creatures wouldn't accept the Dr. Pepper.... Because they Wanna Fanta

Sounds like it's time to mod in a certain Handy Haversack!

[Insert obvious Salt pun here] Obvious puns aside, we usually trade for salt as well, though we do prospect for it while we are out exploring. I've managed to find a few salt domes peppered around the various worlds that way, but they're still rare enough that I relish the moment I find the halite readings that indicate their presence. But the honest answer is, unless you get lucky, you'll likely have to grind your salt out at the traders. But, like Zane said, that doesn't really leave you in a pickle, because salt isn't really a cure for anything necessary in the game. It makes things easier and is necessary for making cheese, but that's about it. So don't worry if you can't catch up on the salt thing, because by the time you've mustered up all the other resources you need for the stuff salt helps out, you'll already have found some. Personally, I still think we should just be able to make it from Seawater, which would give us a reason to go saline on the oceans rather than stay inland.

Not to derail back into the pizza topic, but that actually sounds pretty dang good, as long as the hot sauce isn't so hot it overwhelms everything else. Like, I love spicy food (And would be interested to see something like it in VS) but there's a limit to that.

In regards to the diplomat thing, I think it may actually fit to give the Tailor a boost to trading, though. After all, a Tailor would have had to source raw materials and tools, plus haggle with Customers. Might be interesting to make them the Trade class as well.

This could actually be a really good way to make a more "Nutrient Dense" food: Bread for Grain, Meat for Protein, Cheese for Dairy, Veggies for...duh. Pair it with something like fruit juice and you're covered on all five.

Let me hasten to clarify I just did that for the joke. I do actually like it quite a bit, but I never judged what people do and don't like. Just felt like tossing a gag in.

I would have a problem drinking from them even once they were dug. Issue is, I wear glasses. So I can't...see that well.

My Unpopular Opinion? Hawaiian Pizza is delicious. My actual unpopular opinion, Vintage Story related? Thirst should be a thing, and Water should be a finite resource that needs to be gathered, with source blocks unable to be moved. You can drain a source block and place the water elsewhere, but it will no longer be a source block, so be careful where you put it.

What about "Shivers in Space!"?

Game didn't quite live up to "Uncompromising Wilderness Survival"

Well, it would cause me to seek to defend my farm first and foremost, but the honest solution to that is walls and Light, along with placing blocks that the creatures don't seem to appear upon. Once my crops were properly protected, though, I would focus on setting up other 'passive' sources of food like fish traps from Primitive Survival. If there are no mods, then I'll focus on finding ways to stay alive until my crops are ready while also getting a cellar ready for storage. I would also be hunting mushrooms and cooking and sealing everything I could. Honestly, I enjoy playing 30-day months. It feels more 'real' to me that I can spend a lot of time in Summer gathering resources and then spend Winter enjoying the quite literal fruits of my labors. -
Fishing in a 3d videogame not built around fishing

Local Blackguard found Dead Our top story tonight, LadyWYT, a local blackguard, was tragically found dead today at the bottom of a local lake. She was found with one arm stuffed into a crevasse, and the autopsy indicated death by drowning. Her bag with her was found to contain cooked food, an eyepatch, and multiple types of fish, all with spear wounds on their bodies. Local Guard reports conclude that LadyWYT died while diving into the lake to catch fish, rather than using a trap or pole like a sane person. Apparently her arm got stuck when she jammed it into the crevasse beneath the log. [Spoiler Character], upon hearing the sad news, was quoted as sighing before saying: "Seraphs, use your noodle, and don't noodle." (This came to me after reading your comment, I had to write it out)
