    I think you still need meat + water to make it classified as a soup, and then you add the bone broth on top of that.

    I tried putting some raw nuggets into an oven, but nothing happened. Was there something else I needed to do first? EDIT: Never mind, the oven just hadn't updated after I added the mod. I removed and placed the oven, and it works now.

    Do you have to cook the meat there before smashing/cutting it?

    How do you cook meat now? When I put some bushmeat over a fire, it turns directly into charred cooked bushmeat.
