  1. Thats actually a very nice idea. A possibility for them to fall out after a certain distance would also be absolutely OK to have this not too OP. Would also just make sense. At least for arrows.
  2. Thanks! I wasn't absolutely sure regarding this one (as mentioned)
  3. What the hell am I reading here. Not sure if I wanna know what this is about
Your points are absolutely valid. As you've already mentioned, the next update will very likely include rivers. Sometimes mountains are very steep, but there are also smoother mountains. It kinda depends on definition about "smooth". I, in my current playthrough, have a pretty large flat area (I'd guess its around 300x150 blocks). So it might be that you were just unlucky with your world generation or your generation settings. Rain is also dependent on your region. It's not global. So it might absolutely be possible that it rains on one side of your house, but the other side is dry. The world is big, so you might have some luck by wandering around for a new location.
  5. There is a mod for that https://mods.vintagestory.at/stepupcontinued It is client side only, so it should work except if the server has explcitly banned that mod. Your suggestion is absolutely valid, though.
  6. Yes, it will change the growing time accordingly. But also it should increase their yield according to their growing time. I've read that somewhere, but haven't tested it myself, so please take this with a grain of salt.
  7. I can't really say anything about how realistic the consumption is in terms of numbers, as the game is quite abstract about it. Satiety is not directly related to kcal, I think. You're absolutely right with the bread. It's kinda ridiculus that you have to consume 5 loafs of bread (yielding 300 sat each) to fill your hunger bar. Despite that, it's not that unrealistic. A good meal can fill you up a lot. If done right, it nearly fills your whole bar without many ingredients. With meals, I think it's pretty OK. Just like breakfast, probably lunch (depending on how much you do) and dinner. I'd be really upset in reallife if I only had one meal a day, too. Personally, it doesn't bother me that much.
  8. Please note that you might need to adjust the path in your serverconfig.json file, as (at least in my case) it referenced the absolute full path to the save file on my system (Linux Flatpak).
  9. Whoops, @LadyWYT was a bit faster than me --- Welcome to the forums! I understand that this situation sucks, but the support ist normally pretty fast and you should get a response within one or two working days. Depending on the payment method, it may take some time until you get your game key. Credit card and PayPal should be instant, though. When did you purchase the game and what payment method have you used to do so? Unfortunately the only thing you can do is to wait for the support. This forum is mainly used by other players like you and we cannot look into this for you. I hope you get your key soon!
  10. According to the 1.15 & 1.15.1 changelog, it should be fine as long as the room facing block side as long as it follows some criteria:
  11. Oh, thats a bummer. I always thought it's only in line of sight. It's time to push them to generation 10
  12. That’s a great idea! Not sure if specifically torches are required, but for light you can also use lanterns. Those will never go out. You can also light them beforehand, as they won’t go out inside your inventory. Only when placed outside of a torch holder.
  13. Hola! I've built a small barn for my animals and surrounded it with walls (chiselled). My bush farm is right next to it. Unfortunately my chickens get scared even when I'm outside, preventhing them from incubating the eggs properly. They shouldn't be able to see me, as there's a wall between them and me. Is this intended, did I do anything wrong or is there anything I can do to prevent this? Screenshot from the outside: Screenshot from the inside: Thank you very much!
  14. Welcome to the forums! Please note that the forums language is English, if not explicitly stated otherwise. Despite that, do you have any specific suggestions on what to add in, for example, lakes?
  15. Good find, @talkingsoup! This mapping is pretty odd and shouldn't be there by default (at least in 1.21.6). Please don't hesitate to mark your own post as the solution, so that other players with that issue can see that this has been solved and jump to your comment
