bj0rn Posted March 11, 2023 Report Posted March 11, 2023 Diamonds have lots of real life applications due to their hardness, e.g. cutting, polishing, sharp tools, etc. Why not require diamonds for certain crafts? Examples: Cutting, chiseling or polishing hard rock types or glass Diamond reinforced steel tools High efficiency grinding stone Craftable jewlery 3
Zelger Posted March 14, 2023 Report Posted March 14, 2023 Jewlery could be very cool. Not just from diamonds though. 1

Looking at the roadmap, I can't find these things. "Gem cutting" can at best be interpreted as craftable jewelry. Am I missing something?
Awutak Posted March 18, 2023 Report Posted March 18, 2023 I like it - the more of such little applications the better!

Maelstrom Posted March 21, 2023 Report Posted March 21, 2023 And only Tyron (and the dev team) knows what is ultimately meant by "gem cutting". Could be merely jewelry creation, but could have hidden meaning as well.
