the_gamer_guy
Those are mostly pine, oak, and aged planks. Some are chiselled, some are not. Oddly enough, the slabs seem to display fine, as do most other blocks. But echo chambers and item cases also look like this. This is the world on my server. If I load into a single player game, everything seems to work fine. It's just this world that is having issue. This started happening after I updated from an other version to 1.18.6. I don't remember what version I updated from. I think it was 1.16-something.
ArgentLuna
Had a similar thing when we updated to 1.18 from 1.16 on the server i was on. We restarted the server and it cleared up (but there were other game stopping errors that we found after that involving invisible items)
the_gamer_guy
Interesting. I've restarted the server and my game multiple times and it hasn't gone away. I guess maybe its the end of the road for this world... EDIT: I have fixed the issue! For anyone who is also experiencing this issue or is just curious: I downloaded the world file (which was public-world-01.vcdbs in my case) from the server files, and put it directly into my game saves folder. Then I loaded the world in repair mode. Once it loaded in, it gave me a dialogue box saying the world was from an older version and needed to be remapped and reloaded. I hit apply/accept or whatever to go through with the process, and after it reloaded again everything was fixed. I then uploaded this fixed version of my world back to the server and all is well now : ) Edited July 11 by the_gamer_guy Added info about how I fixed the issue.
