stat-strikes-back Posted March 28, 2024 Report Posted March 28, 2024 i love this! the inclusion of extra ambience is so exciting. this game is already such an immersive world to get lost in, so adding even more 'little' touches like this (surely not actually a small thing from a development perspective) will only make that feeling stronger. are there plans to make the frogs go quiet if a player or a mob gets too close? there's something so surreal in real life when all the frogs go quiet at once because a person or a predator or something is nearby. the subtle impact and slight fear of experiencing that in-game could be wild! not just not hearing groaning, but suddenly realizing you're not hearing anything at all - not even the frogs - making the player wonder if that bush is actually a bear...
