Metal Parts in 1.19

Has 1.19 version made the dropping of metal parts more difficult than in the past?

I had a 1.18 world with 250 hours and never had any issues finding metal parts, but in my new 1.19 world (with 130ish hours) I have never found any.

Really?  I've got about 120 hours on 1.19 and have 4 stacks of the stuff.  Although I think 2 of those were purchased from a trader.

I've had no issues finding metal parts on 1.19 , got several stacks on my current playtrough.

Think most of them I found in underground translocator ruins, or when fighting the occasional sawblade locusts in deep caves.

well glad to hear they still exist. i guess its time to go underground deeper!

I always find a ton by destroying the junk metal piles that you find in ruins, specifically one of the junk piles in translocators is guaranteed to have metal parts.
You could also sift for them but that's way less effective in my experience.
