As the Title Describes it I have only recently acquired VS and i loved it, the struggle to survive and eventually thrive.
but as i played i discovered A particular love for Making Drinks and Wines out of left over Berries and the like it got me to thinking.. why Don't i do that IRL?
and so a couple weeks later and my pockets lighter i have now got my very own Fruit press + Fermenting kit and have made my Very own cider and plan to make Much more!

All in all I love your Game and Look forward to many hours of playing
you inspired me to make something, thank you.

Nice. Try mead sometime. 3# of honey per gallon, choose a relatively slow yeast for best flavor. Pasteurize in a double boiler or use a sous vide, backsweeten to taste. Or you can skip pasteurizing and age it in the back of the fridge so fermentation doesn't start back up.

I highly recommend trying DangerDave's Dragon Blood. And if you're serious about brewing, the Speidel 30L fermenting vessel absolutely is the most convenient and ergonomic of everything I've tried in the 5-7 gallon range. If I had known about them when I started, I'd own nothing else. Builtin handles, no danger of broken glass, and you can easily wash it out in the bathtub, love love love it. Best of luck in your winemaking journey.

Hello all Thanks for being so supportive! just wanted to give everyone a quick update on my progress so far.

It's been great! i have Received as a birthday gift a brewing set for 5L with almost everything i'd need (couldn't live without my own miniature Fruit press;)). so far I've made one batch of Apple cider and it's turned out amazing so far! after this cider is done im going to wait for the red currant in my front yard to ripen and use that to make some wine.

as for the Kind suggestions I would Love to try them all and get all into brewing though that's unfortunately going to have to wait for now until i Make enough money to afford it.

though there are plenty of wild plants nearby i could forage to use (i'll see what i can find in my local forest) so that's exciting!

thank you all again for being so supportive, may your Worlds be blessed by the RNG lords

Now youre just starting to play vintage story IRL. What a chad.

This game inspired me to get back into game development where i made a procedural voxel terrain project over the course of a week and then stopped because i got busy with school again. RIP

Some people have the goal of getting to the steel age and making killer steel armor.

My goal is to get a brewery and distillery up and running. If we're ever to get civilization back on this vintage world it's going to take plenty of alcohol!
