Clouds disappear after I sleep

Old topic but thought ID try this. Im having the an issue with clouds, load the game and there are clouds until I sleep and the next morning theres nothing, even if i wait for days until I save and load the game again. I have no mods running, im wondering if anyone is having this issue and if anyone found a way to fix this?

I see that you already found the issue tracker forum and posted this there.

You might want to include a comment about whether or not you ever had any mods installed for the world that is having this problem.

Also, if you did have mods and then removed them, did you also remove their config files which are in a different folder? (I don't know anything about it, but I'm thinking of an accessibility mod that I use which does have an option for removing clouds... and wondering what happens if someone starts a world using that config setting and then later disable the mod without removing the config file)

Same problem for me. (Vanilla and Multiplayer)

I have clouds and after sleeping there are no more. (Host User/Linux) Another person on the same server (Joined User/Windows) sees the clouds, but with slight bugs. After save and load it works fine. But I also have the additional problem that we don't have any rain near our house, even though there should be frequent rainfall.

But I don't know if the two things are connected.

However, it seems that the problem only occurs when I open the game to the Internet. If I start the same Map without LAN/Internet, then it works.

I'm having the same problem, version 1.20.7

If anyone is looking for a temporary fix then in my case changing /time calendarspeedmul to default (0.5) before going to sleep fixed my problem. I just have to do it every time before bed and in the morning to revert the changes (it's faster than reloading the save ^^)

In my case, it was the “Open Game to LAN/Internet” option.

I converted my server from a local Multiplayer (Singleplayer + Open to LAN) to a real dedicated server, after that I no longer had the problem.
