Sukkarat
I know this sounds simple, and there is most likely some little detail that is obvious but I have failed to notice, but I have not been able to make limewater for leatherworking. I have put water and lime inside a barrel, using the 1L:1 lime ratio described in the guide book (aka 10 lime per 10L water) Is there something I have misunderstood or is there a fault in the game itself? I've tried various other things too but I just don't get it. Beginner troubles really as I've never done this before.

Your description sounds like you did everything correctly, but to clarify, did you put lime or limestone into the barrel? If you used limestone, crush the stones with a hammer or grind them with a quern into a powder, then mix the result with water in a barrel. If you used lime, are you playing with or without mods installed? Edited September 17 by Brady_The

I am putting lime in the barrel, I made lime from marble so I don't even have limestone. (and it's not quicklime either) I crushed the rocks to make lime and put the lime inside the barrel in the ratio I described earlier. At first I thought that maybe I need to wait for the water to mix and waited for two in game days just to be sure, but by doing a bit of research it seems that I should not need to wait. Also, I am playing without mods.

Are you using fresh or sea water? It won't work with the latter. It'll tell you in the block info what water has been filled into the barrel. If that's not it, I am out of ideas. (A screenshot, like DejFidOFF suggested, might help.) Edited September 17 by Brady_The

I'll have to try and do some more research on it, the water is fresh water from a pond. It might be some bug or issue in my world, I'll have to look into it... WordyDird
I'm having a similar issue too actually. I swear I had just done it this exact same way and it worked but now it's not auto-combining. I'm *mostly* certain I'm using freshwater. If I find a fix I'll let you know

Omg you're right! It's been a while since i last played and i was like "I don't remember having to do all this to get lime but whatever" somehow just glossed right over the 'quick' part. Thank you so much
