Michael Gates Posted January 12, 2025 Report Posted January 12, 2025 I run over copper, lead, quartz and borax surface deposits all the time, and I've bumped into surface cassiterite a couple of times, but I can't remember seeing anything else. Are there other surface deposits?
Solution LadyWYT Posted January 12, 2025 Solution Report Posted January 12, 2025 Sulfur and obsidian technically count, as you can find bits on the surface and proper ore down under those bits. You can also find silver bits on the surface, as well as gold, though I've only ever found silver. 2
Michael Gates Posted January 13, 2025 Author Report Posted January 13, 2025 Sulfur certainly is a surface deposit. I don't know if obsidian counts because it's just rock, acting like rocks do? And then I don't know offhand if surface silver and gold bits lead to more underground. I'll have to wander about more and find these. (I'm trying to collect pictures of all of them, to add to this: https://imgur.com/gallery/what-vintagestory-surface-deposits-look-like-QqIkguz .. so few people seem to be able to find surface borax, but it's EVERYWHERE) 1
