Your_Fellow_Fern Posted January 30, 2025 Report Posted January 30, 2025 I'd love for there to be a way to edit your character's hairstyle after initial customization- maybe basic changes could be made in the Character Sheet, and more would be unlocked as you progress. (You could only put your hair up/down in the Character Sheet, once you've made shears you could cut it, and possibly a mirror in the end game?) Maybe even a hair growth system that could be toggled on and off? I really enjoy worldbuilding in Vintage Story, and I always want to include cultural practices in appearance- so I'd love to be able to have this feature. 2
LadyWYT Posted January 30, 2025 Report Posted January 30, 2025 There's already a system in place for it, or rather, being worked on, at least regarding changing your hairstyle after character creation. It's not yet working, to my knowledge, but the groundwork is clearly in place for it to eventually be an option. Spoilers ahead for chapter two: Spoiler There is a barbershop in the village, where it seems the player will be able to change hairstyles at some later time. As for natural hair growth: https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/9016 1
idiomcritter Posted January 30, 2025 Report Posted January 30, 2025 an additional option is the command .charsel to reenvoke character selection, and then choosing a different hairstyle which is more than going to an ingame hairstylist or barber 1
