Reed growth times?

I was wondering exactly how long that it takes reeds to regrow but I can't find any information about that on the wiki, forums, or the net. Does anyone here know?

No idea about the time in days but i do believe its quicker if the roots are submerged in water.

a certain mod reveals 168 hours.  that said, i'm guessing its varible a bit based on outside temps, winter puts growing things into a holding pattern
