Cattail latitude?

So I started a playthrough beginning in an "icy climate" - aka - north of latitude 75. I'm just wondering at what latitude cattails can be found? I can't seem to find that info anywhere...

the wiki shares that cattails grow in temperate climates.  can't say how far that is from icy climate, cept to say you'll need to go beyond larch and pine forests... 10k blocks south and then some?

the way biomes generate, you could get lucky, and find a temperate patch closer.

other than that, as you might know, though you won't find replantable cattail roots, you can sometimes gain cattails from a cracked vessel

Yeah, I was just confused because the irl wiki for cattails seems to indicate they can be found as far north as the arctic circle. All good, though. I did end up finding enough to make hunter packs, which was my initial goal. But I am curious if there’s a way to find out what latitude they will naturally generate in game.

It's climate-based. IIRC, they will not spawn in regions with an average temp of under 10C, and won't grow below 2C. Like @idiomcritter says, patchy climate can create warm regions.
