Oofishy Posted May 8, 2025 Report Posted May 8, 2025 (edited) I was messing around with world laws (game rules?) trying to find good values but I can’t figure out the cold temperature law (I don’t remember exactly what it is called) I don’t understand the law, is it the body temp you freeze at? The outside temp? right now I can go out in the middle of winter and jump in a lake and I just get a cold vignette. What value should I set it to Edited May 8, 2025 by Oofishy
Maelstrom Posted May 8, 2025 Report Posted May 8, 2025 There's two things that affect freezing. One is the temp, in world which is primarily determined by your lattitude in the world and the season. The other factor is how resistant to cold you choose. You're spawn climate and temperature resistance can be selected at time of generating a new world.
Oofishy Posted May 8, 2025 Author Report Posted May 8, 2025 Yeah but I messed it up with commands so I was wondering what a normal value for the resistance would be
Solution Maelstrom Posted May 8, 2025 Solution Report Posted May 8, 2025 Ohhhh, I see. Don't know off the top of my head and can't reference the game while at work. Not sure I'll play tonight after work but next chance I get I'll get that for you. Alternatively, you could begin creating a new world to get the default and then abort the rest of creating that world..
Oofishy Posted May 8, 2025 Author Report Posted May 8, 2025 Ok, thanks! I’ll be able to look for myself soon too, then I’ll stop messing with commands

You can also just change it in your serverconfig.json under the specific world, it'll tell you the name of each world in that config, under "SaveFileLocation". 1
