Unuson Posted May 26, 2025 Report Posted May 26, 2025 I've been holding onto this iron bloom that's missing two voxels and I've finally gotten an iron helve to try to work it. However, I heated the iron bloom to 1100 and it doesn't fully finish the output by the time it cools down too much to work anymore. I've sat and watched it go but the missing voxels are never filled or replaced, so it remains as an incomplete iron bloom still. Is the wind power not sufficient or do I need to heat it even higher? Can anyone help me out? Since you cannot add voxels to an incomplete iron bloom, this iron helve is all I have left to fix this
WiggleStick Posted May 26, 2025 Report Posted May 26, 2025 Heat it and rotate it 90 degrees when you place it on the anvil. so it has to move the voxels.
Unuson Posted May 27, 2025 Author Report Posted May 27, 2025 I tried rotating it while it was going, and it moved the voxels around to the new green spaces, but it still leaves two missing voxels and displays Material: 40/42 sadly. Would any mods such as SmithingPlus cause this, or perhaps being on a server which my world is currently on affect this?
Solution Unuson Posted May 27, 2025 Author Solution Report Posted May 27, 2025 Ahh I think this is a feature created by SmithingPlus for some reason, I feel silly for missing this. I believe the mod I use causes all iron blooms to have enough voxels when first generated, but the iron bloom I worked on had lost some voxels from an accidental splitting. Since the mod disabled helve hammer regenerating voxels, I couldn't add new ones through it. I will remove this mod so that I can use the vanilla functionality of the helve hammer. Apologies! 1
Maelstrom Posted May 28, 2025 Report Posted May 28, 2025 Alternatively, you could go into creative, grant yourself an iron ingot and delete the defective one.
