Som3a Posted July 6, 2025 Report Posted July 6, 2025 i just built my first house in the game and added detail with chiseling but then it wasn't considered a room anymore I tried reading the wiki and started using the debug commands to try to figure out which blocks were causing the issue and I read the part about the 50% volume and 32 voxel on the inside face still im not able to get it to be a room even when i barely have any chiseling or none at all done to the inside face it doesn't seem to work if anyone could point out anything im missing for another trick to get this room isolated
idiomcritter Posted July 6, 2025 Report Posted July 6, 2025 curious on the size of the room? screenshot? vaguely recall something about blocks exist behind the chisel wall might help (room within a room?)...
Thorfinn Posted July 7, 2025 Report Posted July 7, 2025 Oh, yeah, I have equally bad luck with chiseling. I *think* the deal is that I tend to use max side rooms. Sometimes chiseling means that block does not count as a room boundary, so it goes to the block beyond it, which, since I'm using maximum sized rooms, means it is now too big to count as a room. I could probably figure out the rules, but I've just adopted the rule, "Chisel only if it has nothing to do with a room."
